Assistant Waiter / Βοηθός Σερβιτόρου

Avaton Luxury Beach Resort - Relais & Chateaux (www.avaton.com) is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Assistant Waiter to join our team.

As an Assistant Waiter at Avaton Luxury Beach Resort, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our guests during their dining experience. You will assist the waitstaff team with setting up tables, taking and serving orders, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Your attention to detail, positive attitude, and willingness to go the extra mile will contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Our ideal Assistant Waiter will:

• Clear, clean and set up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner
• Polish silverware, refill condiment containers and crumb tables
• Stock linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages
• Break down, clean and set up buffets and food stations
• Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Greet guests, provide water, bread and butter service conforming to our standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Waiter or similar role in a luxury dining establishment is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
• Basic knowledge of dining room procedures and etiquette
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
