Role: Architect - European Commission

Location: Greece - European Commission

Responsibilities:

Following tasks will be performed by external service provider:

• Handles architecture and design of IS
• Analysis of the integration of different information systems
• Design and development of components architecture and building blocks
• Implementation of the technical architecture
• Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers
• Data analysis and data modelling
• Production of software architecture documents.
• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users

Requirements:

Following skills are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:

• At least 5 years of studies attested by a diploma, and a minimum of 5 years post-secondary professional experience
• Good understanding of architecture best practices and patterns
• Good understanding of microservices and architecture in the cloud
• Good understanding of applications design
• Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture
• Good experience with Relational DBMS
• Good understanding of business process analysis
• Good experience with data and modelling tools

Languages:

• Excellent knowledge of English - Level C2 in Understanding, Speaking and Writing

• Highly flexible and able to adapt to changing and/or conflicting priorities
• Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
• Analysis and problem-solving skills
• Ability to conceptualize complex technical environments and issues
