Job Role: As a Restaurant Captain at MiraggioThermal Spa Resort you play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless andexceptional dining experience for our guests. You are responsible forsupervising the dining room staff, coordinating service, and maintaining thehighest standards of service quality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Supervision: Oversee the restaurant's front-of-house staff. Provide guidance, direction, andperformance feedback to maintain a professional and motivated team.
  • Service Coordination:Coordinate guest seating, table assignments, and table turnover to ensureefficient service and guest satisfaction. Collaborate with the host/hostess tooptimize seating arrangements.
  • Guest Welcome: Greetand welcome guests, ensuring a warm and professional demeanor. Assist inseating guests and addressing any special requests or accommodations.
  • Menu Knowledge: Bewell-versed in the restaurant's menu, including daily specials, wineselections, and cocktail offerings. Describe and recommend menu items andbeverages to guests.
  • Order Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of orders before they are served to guests. Ensure thatpresentation and service meet the restaurant's standards.
  • Guest Assistance:Address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests, providing efficient solutionswhile maintaining a high level of service quality.
  • Table Maintenance:Monitor table setup, cleanliness, and organization to ensure that each tablemeets the restaurant's standards. Assist in resetting tables for the nextguests.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staffto ensure food orders are prepared and served promptly. Communicate guestpreferences, dietary restrictions, and special requests to the kitchen.
  • Guest Recognition:Develop and maintain relationships with regular guests, recognize repeatcustomers, and provide personalized service to enhance the dining experience.
  • Reservations: Manage reservations, ensuringoptimal table allocation and seating plans. Record reservation details andmaintain an organized reservation system.
  • Sales and Upselling:Promote menu items, special promotions, and wine selections to enhance theguest experience and increase revenue.
  • Safety and Cleanliness:Enforce health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and responsiblealcohol service. Address safety concerns and emergencies effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor'sdegree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-3years minimum experience on similar position , leadership in hospitalitystrongly required
  • Excellentknowledge of Greek and English languages. Third language will be consideredaccordingly.
  • Exceptionalcommunication
  • Familiaritywith POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and cash handling.
  • Abilityto prioritize tasks, work under pressure with provided resources, manageworkload using own initiative and sufficiently cover a multitask position.
  • Availabilityto work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
