System Architect for Cloud Transformation

NTT Data Greece team is looking for a System Architect (Cloud Transformation) in Athens to work with our clients in the European public sector such as European Commission European Patent Office, European Medicines Agency and United Nations.

You will be an integral part of the solution architect team, which forms a core component of our customer-focused function. Working alongside expert solution architects in various infrastructure technologies, AWS cloud architects and software engineers, you will collaborate directly with customers to understand their business needs and technical requirements.

This role involves designing AWS cloud first and hybrid cloud architectures that leverage AWS, and cloud services to meet customer requirements while fostering a relationship of trust throughout the partnership.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in solution architecture, with a focus on AWS Cloud technology.
• Strong expertise in designing cloud solutions and a solid understanding of AWS frameworks and best practices.
• Proficiency in virtualization, networking, storage, and security principles.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Weblogic, relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), Java application servers (Wildfly), Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux OS.
• Background in AWS migration projects, containerization, and microservices.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
• Experience with the AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP).
• Skills in cost optimization and cloud budget management.

Your Day Will Look Like:

• Design and develop AWS-based cloud and hybrid solutions that meet customer needs and budgets, leveraging AWS and DIGIT cloud services.
• Research and apply the latest AWS tools and techniques, tailoring them to improve solution outcomes in alignment with customer requirements.
• Conduct quality reviews to ensure solutions meet cost-efficiency and reliability standards.
• Build scalable and reusable cloud infrastructure pipelines, enabling robust architecture solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, drafting reports, documentation, and presentations to support seamless client communication.
