We are currently looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist in Thessaloniki to join our team.
Your role will encompass:
- Supports the Regional Finance Manager leading financial planning and analysis activities for the region including the monthly, quarterly and annual financial planning cycles for improving and optimizing the projects performance.
- Analyzes and evaluates the region’s financial activity, mapping out the future financial performance, while anticipating potential obstacles and problems.
- Leads the collection of actual and forecast data, tracks and determines financial status, providing insightful commentary on the drivers of key variances vs plan.
- Provides forward looking insights for the region, utilizing financial data and forecasts.
- Liaises with key stakeholders for the evaluation of renewable investments, leading the financial assessment of business opportunities (including 3rd party EPC projects and BOT investments), utilizing respective financial modelling and analysis.
- Prepares and submits financial reporting packages and relevant presentations to support management decision making.
- Liaises with Central Functions stakeholders (Treasury, Strategy and M&As) to achieve all business objectives and prepare appropriate business proposals and operating practices.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting Finance, Economics or related field.
- Master’s degree would be considered as an asset.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Energy, RES or Construction sector preferably.
- Exposure to international working environments.
- Solid knowledge of Accounting and General Chart of Accounts.
- Solid communication skills, teamwork mentality and able to pay attention to detail.
- Strong organizing and planning skills, problem solving and analytical ability.
