AI Lead

We are currently seeking a Data Science Lead with a focus on Conversational AI and Intelligent Agents. You will be responsible for leading and executing end-to-end data science initiatives, driving impactful business solutions, and contributing to the research and development of conversational agents, AI-based decision support tools, and generative AI applications.

What your daily life will look like:

• Lead the design and implementation of AI agents, and other LLM-driven applications, including conversational AI solutions with advanced language understanding, response generation, and intelligent reactions. 
• Drive research initiatives in NLP, Generative AI and Graph Analytics to optimize scalability, predictive performance and delivery time while integrating cutting-edge technologies and other best practices.  
• Encourage proper documentation of processes, methodologies and various techniques to ensure transparency and efficiency. 
• Collaborate with other teams such as software engineering, bioinformatics and product development to align goals with organizational objectives, optimize LLM performance and system integration. 
• Constantly interact and communicate with executive members to ensure alignment, share updates and receive feedback. 
• Lead a technical team and mentor other data scientists in LLMs and other ML techniques.

What your strengths are:

• MSc or Ph.D. (preferred) in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in advanced data science projects, with a focus on AI agents, Conversational AI systems or related areas.
• Proficiency in LLMs and experience with prompt engineering, relation extraction, attention-based models, and generative AI.
• Ability to model, analyze, and extract insights from complex networks, applying graph-based methods to enrich conversational agents.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, with experience using libraries such as Sci-kit learn, Keras, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Strong technical project and people management skills
• Strong proficiency in Greek and English.
