With the support of a talented team of over 80 licensed guides and 40+ business professionals, our headquarters are nestled in the vibrant district of Koukaki, just minutes away from the iconic Acropolis and the Syggrou-Fix metro station.
We are looking for:
We are searching for an experienced Operation Manager who will lead our vibrant team that services customers from all over the world. We want a people manager with a strategic mindset who motivates the team to work effectively, has the full overview of daily work and supports everyone in overcoming challenges with effectiveness and timely manner, being present both at the tour points and the office.
You will manage the Operation Team full-time and report to the General Manager. Your team consists of several specialists and executives who work in guest hosting, guides coordination, customer service and attraction tickets purchase. You will:
- Oversee daily work, delegate tasks and solve problems fast and efficiently
- Review and evaluate the performance of your team members on monthly basis
- Support team with hard cases (handling customer complaints, tour emergencies, communication blockers)
- Engage the team and cultivate strong relationships between them and the licensed guides, partners and service providers
- Analyze and optimize operational processes and tech tools to improve effectiveness and save time
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as HR for people management, and Marketing for product updates, sales development and customer feedback
What you bring:
- At least 3 years of proven team management experience in service operations, preferably in Tourism or Hospitality
- Proven experience in customer support with commitment to high quality service
- A degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
- Leader’s mindset with excellent organizational skills, analytical thinking and ability to motivate the team towards success
- Strong communication skills in English & Greek, both written and oral
- Experience with Google Docs, Microsoft Office, and similar software tools
Nice to have:
- Experience with Freshdesk
- Experience with tour operators and/or tour agencies
