Associate Lawyer

About the job

We seek for a full-time, on-site role located in Athens, interested in specialized in Corporate, Civil and Commercial/ Business Law to join our team as an associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and support in law areas such as drafting of transaction documentation, performing thorough investigations, overseeing commercial transactions and dispute resolution. The associate will also be required to build and maintain relationships with clients, to promote the firm's reputation for legal excellence.

Specializing in company law, capital markets, insolvency, commercial contracts, EU & Greek competition law, M&As, regulated markets and consumer protection, we cater to a diverse clientele of national and international businesses, SMEs, associations, credit institutions and public authorities in and outside Greece.

Experience Required

• Law degree with an adequate academic performance
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Civil and Corporate Law as a qualified lawyer
• Required admission to either the Athens Bar or one of Greece's regional Bar Associations
• LL.M/Master's degree in relevant fields from an accredited university
• Excellent English writing,drafting and oral skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with drafting and negotiating contracts and other legal documents
• Experience with complex commercial transactions, merger & acquisitions and corporate governance
• Excellence client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Experience with dispute resolution and litigation
