The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Being part of a team that consults and performs specialized corporate governance and compliance reviews in high profile clients across all financial services sectors and relevant projects in Greece and abroad.
• Providing in depth analysis of regulation and legislation around company law, public entities and financial institutions operations
• Being agile to process and provide consultation in enhanced financial institutions regulation
• Interacting on a frequent basis with customers
• Delivering excellent client service
• Maintain highest standards of business ethics
• Providing guidance and consultation to junior staff.
  
  

We are looking for a legal professional with the ambition to work outside the traditional lawyer’s career path and develop as a top multinational firm professional legal consultant.

Our indicative basic requirements would be:

• A Bachelor’s Degree at Law, earned from a prominent University in Greece or European Union.
• A Master’s degree in Commercial/ Corporate/ or Banking & Finance will be considered as an asset.
• A broad understanding of banks’ regulatory issues and capital markets’ supervision.
• At least 2 years previous experience around Commercial law and Corporate law anthem main concepts of M&A transactions or Financial Services regulatory framework, as well as a well-structured understanding of their supportive documents.
• Previous years of experience in Banking Sector or in Financial Services would be considered an asset.
• Strong analytical, presentation and report writing skills.
• The ability to work in a team, tight deadlines and the flexibility in approach.
• The ability to work around new and enhanced regulatory frameworks
• The ability to communicate in English and to be an experienced user of MS Office
• Desire to work, acquire sponsored personal certifications and development in a multinational consulting firm
• Ability to resolve complex matters with clients
• Flexibility to work in different and challenging projects in the market

• Genuine interest on continuous learning around Banking regulatory issues and Capital Markets ’s Law.
• Authentic will to work in a corporate environment.
• Classifying legal consulting needs and differentiate them from the litigation’s way of thinking.
• Effective communication and rapport building skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver high quality services and solutions.
