- We are looking for an experienced Test Architect to design the architecture of Nokia products, systems, and / or services. Designs, defines, and implements integrated hardware / software systems requirements from customer requirements or strategic business / technology objectives. Determines system specifications, input / output processes, and working parameters for hardware / software compatibility. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyses, and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions. May provide strategic vision as well as overall management and ensures performance and quality of own technology area or function.
- Identifies the stakeholders involved and coordinates with in the product lifecycle activities for initial phase of product development.
- Captures and manages the functional and non functional requirements by using industry best practices.
- Develops and manages the subsystem level design of the product.
- Researches, designs, plans, develops and / or evaluates new advanced network technologies by translating customer requirements or strategic business objectives into final product design.
- Work typically includes in-depth assessment of the customer's networked application needs, providing network modelling and simulation testing, consulting to further clarify needs, and engineering high-speed technology network transports to deliver application functionality.
- Designs, defines and implements integrated hardware / software systems requirements for customers and / or prepares studies and analyses existing systems.
- Determines system specifications, input / output processes and working parameters for hardware / software compatibility.
- Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system.
- Identifies, analyses and resolves program support deficiencies.
- Develops and recommends corrective actions.
- Solves complex problems based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment.
- Contributes to development of concepts to determine professional direction of own organizational unit.
- Acts as a professional leader for staff / work team / taskforces, often the most senior specialist in a team, who serves as best practice resource within own organizational unit and / or is recognized as an expert within the same professional area in the business.
- Often leads functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk and complexity, handles day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Candidates with Bachelor´s in CS, EE, will be more relevant. Master’s degree is a plus.
- You have a working experience of at least 12+ years in Software Engineering.
- Responsible for Architecture, Automation, Feature testing based on cloud native principles and leading testing of Microservices
- Ownership of SW Test Architecture at System component level
- Hands-on knowledge on a broad array of cloud native technologies and operability concepts. Ability to comprehend complex technical problems and create pragmatic solutions.
- High proficiency in Testing Automation languages and platforms and practices.
- Expert Programmer using Python / Automation Framework / Go / Java / C++ and related Tools in Linux environment
- Expert in Test Design and Development using Cloud Native Principles with strong Analytical and Debugging skills
- Hands-on Experience with Cloud Native, Microservices, Containers and Virtualization Technologies like Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), CaaS, Helm, Envoy, Databases, gRPC, Open Source Integration, FOSS, CSF, Operability and Serviceability Domain, CI/CD, DevOps, etc.
- Work independently, deploying, testing and troubleshooting Cloud native application
- Leading the end to end testing of Features
- Willing to work in lean and extremely agile environment / start-up work culture to achieve stiff and challenging targets
- Team player with proven ability to work in diverse team environment
- Experience in cross-team technical interface management.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide array of stakeholders and technical experts throughout the company and outside partners
- Interface to key customers to explain design approaches and solution elements
- Ability to manage customer escalations caused by outage or product defects
- Track record of creating high quality work and delivering results on time.
