Mobile Voice Services Engineer

You have a challenging mission for:

As a Mobile Voice Services Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our mobile voice services. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining and optimizing our network to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

What will you do:

• Support Voice Technology Projects: Assist in the design and implementation of voice technology projects within the CS and IMS domains.
• Software Lifecycle Management: Implement major software upgrades and maintain the software lifecycle for all voice network elements, working closely with vendors.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze network and service performance KPIs, identifying gaps and implementing corrective measures to ensure seamless network operation.
• Change Management: Participate in the change management process for configuration changes in the live network.
• Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve trouble tickets affecting customer services.
• 3rd Level Support: Offer 3rd level support on core network systems, handling critical network trouble tickets.

It would be great if you have:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in mobile voice services or a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in mobile network architectures, protocols, and technologies (GSM, UMTS, LTE, VoLTE).
• Voice Network Architecture: Good understanding of voice network architecture and services (Voice, SMS, VoLTE, VoWiF)
• IMS Core Nodes: Experience with IMS core nodes (e.g., CSCF, MTAS, SBG, HSS) and related interfaces
• Legacy Voice Core Nodes: Experience with legacy voice core nodes (e.g., MSC, MGW, HLR) and related interfaces.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Team Player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
