Job Role: The Kid’s Manager will play acrucial role in ensuring that our youngest guests have a memorable anddelightful stay. This position requires a passion for creating magical momentsfor children and families, as well as exceptional organizational andcommunication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership:
- TeamLeadership: Recruit, train, and supervise a talented team of childcare staff,ensuring they are motivated, well-trained, and ready to deliver exceptionalservice.
- StaffScheduling: Develop and manage schedules to maintain appropriate staff-to-childratios while keeping operations smooth.
Welcome and Engage:
- Greetand welcome little guests and their families upon arrival.
- Createa warm and friendly atmosphere, ensuring a positive first impression for youngvisitors.
Tailored Services:
- Developand implement age-appropriate amenities and services for children, includingwelcome gifts, activity kits, and special treats.
- Coordinatewith other departments to ensure that rooms are child-friendly and equippedwith necessary items.
Activity Planning:
- Organizeand oversee a variety of engaging activities for children within the hotelpremises.
- Planand execute special events for children, such as birthday celebrations andthemed parties.
Education and Entertainment:
- Collaboratewith educational programs and entertainers to provide enriching experiences foryoung guests.
- Ensurethat in-room entertainment options are suitable for children and adhere to thehighest standards of safety.
Safety and Security:
- Implementsafety protocols to create a secure environment for little guests.
- Trainstaff on child safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
Communication:
- Maintainopen and transparent communication with parents to understand their needs andpreferences for their children's stay.
- Act asa liaison between the hotel and families to address any concerns or specialrequests.
Qualifications:
- Childcareor education-related certifications.
- Provenexperience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Understandingof child safety and child-friendly service standards.
- CPRand First Aid certification is preferred.
- Excellentknowledge of Greek and English languages. Third language will be consideredaccordingly.
- Exceptionalcommunication (both verbal and written), negotiation and administrative skills.
- Abilityto prioritize tasks, work under pressure with provided resources, manageworkload using own initiative and sufficiently cover a multitask position.
- Availabilityto work in shifts.
