We are currently looking for a Project Design Engineer to join our team, as part of the Grid & Digital Solutions department of the M Power Projects division.

Your role will encompass:

• Conducting thorough feasibility studies and site assessments to determine optimal transmission line routes, considering factors such as terrain, environmental impact, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, electrical engineers, and environmental specialists, to develop comprehensive design plans that align with project objectives and specifications.
• Utilizing advanced computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools to create detailed schematics, models, and simulations for transmission line structures and components.
• Performing rigorous analysis and calculations to ensure the structural integrity, reliability, and efficiency of transmission line designs, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Participating in site visits and inspections to oversee construction activities, resolve design-related issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing insights, implementing innovative design solutions, and staying abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the field of transmission line engineering.

What you bring to the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in transmission line design.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a demonstrated aptitude for collaborating effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established deadlines.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to transmission line design and construction is desirable.
