THE OPPORTUNITY
As our Engineering Compliance Officer, you will be implementing and establishing continuous improvement of the quality systems related to engineering, ensuring that good engineering practices and quality standards are followed.
This position is based in Koropi (Greece) and reports directly to the Engineering Compliance Manager.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Mapping processes: You need to ensure that all processes are mapped using gap analysis. This involves identifying any gaps in current practices and developing strategies to fill those gaps
- SOP writing: You will be responsible for writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that outline the specific steps and guidelines for various engineering and GxP practices
- Personnel training: You need to coordinate and facilitate training programs for personnel involved in engineering and GxP practices. This includes ensuring that employees are properly trained and knowledgeable about compliance requirements
- Project documentation review: You will review project documentation from a compliance perspective, specifically focusing on commissioning, decommissioning, SOPs, and change controls. This ensures that all projects align with regulatory requirements
- Support in day-to-day compliance tasks: You will assist the Engineering Department in their day-to-day compliance tasks. This includes following up on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), change control actions, deviations/investigations, and coordinating training for the Engineering Department
- Coordinate/administrate LOS training management system: You will be responsible for coordinating and administering the Learning Management System (LOS) for training within the Engineering Department. This involves managing training records, scheduling training sessions, and ensuring compliance with training requirements
- Risk assessments: You will be involved in preparing and executing risk assessments, particularly related to equipment maintenance and calibration. This helps identify potential risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
- Engineering compliance audits: You will either drive or participate in engineering compliance audits. This involves evaluating compliance with regulatory requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions
What You Should Bring To The Team
- University (or equivalent) diploma in Engineering and/or Science
- At least 1 year of experience in engineering in an industry environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals and alternatively in the process industry
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
- Customer service and engineering compliance mindset
- Decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a cross-functional environment
- Task prioritization skills
- Technical knowledge with attention to detail
- Problem-solving mindset
- Fluent in both Greek and English
