Responsibilities:
- Ensures the adherence of the procurement procedures and PPC policies
- Designs strategies for the procurement of services, materials and projects
- Compiles, analyzes and monitors the ERP reporting
- Manages the Buyers team in terms of organization and effective allocation of activities
- Participates in the preparation of the investment and operating budgets of the Department
- Monitors, researches the market, collects and processes cost data of the services of their competence
- Handles procedures about selection, negotiation, assignment, contract signing, supplier management and supplier performance management, regarding the service purchases, supply of equipment and projects
- Stays constantly up to date for the framework that governs the Procurement, Projects and Services of PPC
- Draws up and standardizes the commercial terms of the contracts
- Supports throughout the implementation of the contracts, up to their completion
- Supports the processing of decentralized procedures for awarding and implementing contracts
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma from a University or College or Technological Educational Institute, nationally or internationally
- Master's degree will be considered an additional qualification
- At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in procurement, service and project contracting processes
- Experience in industries of Energy or Telecommunications will be considered an additional qualification
- Technical skills in procurement methodologies, tools and techniques will be considered an additional qualification
- Knowledge and use of electronic selection process platforms and procurement planning systems (e.g. SAP) will be considered an additional qualification
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Internet
- Good knowledge of the English language
