Position Overview

We are seeking for a Sustainability Risk Policy Officer to join our Group Sustainability Risk Unit (GSR) within our Group Risk Management. The GSR oversees and manages sustainability risks, including CR&E risks, in collaboration with the Group Senior Sustainability Officer as well as the ESG, Business, and Risk Units. It develops and implements sustainability risk frameworks, policies, and processes, reporting progress to the Board. The GSR also reviews and monitors the Financed Impact Strategy and Net Zero action plan, ensuring financial targets and KPIs are met. It manages the second line of defense for sustainable lending reassessment and characterizes Retail Portfolio products as sustainable. Lastly, the GSR develops and coordinates Climate Risk Stress Testing and Scenario Analysis at the Group level.

As a Sustainability Risk Policy Officer, your key responsibilities will be :

• Assist in developing and updating the sustainability risk management framework, including sustainable finance frameworks and climate risk stress testing documentation.
• Provide expert guidance for the integration of sustainability risks into other risk management policies.
• Work with other Risk and Business Units to align the sustainability risk framework with the broader business strategy.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of sustainability risk policies.
• Provide expert guidance and support for establishing appropriate Risk Appetite Statements (RAS), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and risk limits related to Sustainability risks.
• Stay updated on regulatory developments and ensure that internal policies are compliant.
  
  

You Will Be a Great Candidate If You

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Environmental Science, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Hold a post graduate degree in Finance, Environmental Science, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Have 5 years of experience in drafting and managing risk policies.
• Are fluent in English and Greek, both oral and written.
• Have excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Have knowledge of risk management and sustainability regulations.
• Hold PRM / FRM or similar professional certifications will be considered an asset.
• Are proficient of MS Office suite
