Job Summary:

The Alternative Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies focused on alternative distribution channels, including online marketplaces, affiliate networks, and non-traditional retail partners. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with partners, and driving sales growth through innovative channel strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for alternative channels to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and evaluate potential alternative channel partners and negotiate partnership agreements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring alignment on business goals and performance targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create compelling value propositions tailored to alternative channels.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for expansion and improvement.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of alternative channel initiatives, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve targets.
  • Provide training and support to partners to promote product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging channels to maintain a competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on alternative channels or business development.
  • Previous working experience within the Banking and Payments Industry will be considered as a plus
  • Proven track record of successfully managing channel partnerships and driving sales growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in [specific industry related to your organization] is a plus.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with contract negotiations and partner management.
