Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Assist in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Warehouse and other cloud-based tools.

Support the development of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to gather data from multiple sources and ensure data quality.

Help optimize and maintain data storage solutions to improve performance and ensure data reliability.

Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions that support business intelligence and reporting requirements.

Participate in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues as they arise.

Assist in performance analytics by gathering, transforming, and analyzing data to provide insights for business decisions.

Contribute to automating data workflows and processes, reducing manual intervention and improving efficiency.

Who Are We Looking For

BSc in relevant subjects (i.e. Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Business) is required.

Some experience (internships, projects, or up to 1 year of work) in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence, preferably with exposure to cloud-based data warehouses.

Basic understanding of Azure Data Warehouse (Azure Synapse) and data pipeline integration, with a willingness to learn more.

Familiarity with data visualization tools, especially Tableau, for building simple reports and dashboards.

Basic SQL skills for querying data, with a desire to further develop skills in Python or R for analytics.

Experience in the Payments or Banking industry would be considered a plus.

Strong attention to detail, with a willingness to learn and improve problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills and ability to present data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Self-motivated and eager to develop new skills, with guidance and support.
