Postings Assistant

Role Description

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team. Accounting Assistant responsibilities include managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our ERP system and processing invoices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the processing of accounts payable
• Maintain accuracy and organized financial records and documents
• Performing reconciliations of suppliers’ accounts
• Process transactions according to stated procedures so that all transactions are recorded in a timely and accurate manner.
• Enter and verify the accuracy of financial transactions
• Complying with Month End closing requirements and deadlines
• Ensuring there are no outstanding transactions that are not completed before closing.
• Ensuring monthly checklists are completed without exception
• Assist in Audit & Tax queries
• Responsible for queries from Internal and External Stakeholders
• Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures
• Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
• Following adequate rules, policies, procedures and instructions

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or relevant field
• English proficient
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
• Process oriented.
• Effective collaboration
• Analytical and problem-solving oriented
• Able to handle multi-tasks and prioritize accordingly

Work experience

0-2 years of accounting experience
