Job Description

As Scaffolding Engineer you will be part of the Engineering Team Area Europe. In this role you will strongly support the implementation of Scaffolding business as a strategic focus area of the Doka Group within Europe, which is rapidly growing and expanding. You will be located in one of our Sales organization respectively you are able to work remotely after the Onboarding phase.

• You develop technical designs and structural analyses from quotation to order processing projects across Europe
• You provide technical and commercial advice for projects with a focus on cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Operations, Support) to advance business performance, productivity and customer satisfaction - to ensure the engineering solutions are safe and economical
• You act as contact point in terms of scaffolding technical knowledge and product expertise within the Area Europe
• You support the Country Engineering Teams to develop competence in terms of scaffolding by mentoring, training and guiding the teams on the difference stages of the design
• You engage with clients and local country teams whenever needed
• You partner with our Business Unit Scaffolding to ensure the implementation of the cooperate set standards and collaborate on product development and technical documentation
  
  

• Scaffolding engineering experience and track record with international civil projects
• Strong design skills in AutoCAD 2D and ideally also 3D Software's such as Revit or Tekla
• Working knowledge and interpretation of Statics software packages
• Strong ability to read, interpret and understand structural and architectural contract drawings
• Proven track record in developing engineering design concepts and translating to customer needs
• Engineering Diploma/Degree (construction, structural, civil, mechanical) is a plus
• Ability to conduct advanced statics calculations is a plus
• Shoring experience in conjunction with Scaffolding is a plus
  

• Ability to prioritize, organize, and work well within deadlines
• Ability to solve problems using technical proficiency, strategic thinking and strong analytical skills
• Good understanding of customers’ needs and high customer orientation
• Excellent communication skills in English
• You are mobile and flexible, business trips within Europe are a welcome change for you

The salary framework is adapted to local conditions and professional experience.
To work from Home Office after the Onboarding is possible in agreement with your leader.
