So what’s the challenge…

Are you ready to power up the future of OPAP premises and stores? As our Electro-Mechanical Engineer, you'll be the driving force behind our Property and Facilities Team, providing specialized engineering support and undertaking diverse projects that will electrify every aspect of our retail environment!

Your day to day will include:

• Reviewing functional parameters for electro-mechanical and fire brigade study designs of the proposed architecture concepts
• Analyzing electro-mechanical design and fire brigade design plans to ensure that all the prerequisites are fulfilled based on relevant legislation
• Proposing, creating and implementing innovative digital solutions for retail or similar environments
• Analyzing the client's requirements and current situation and designing customized digital solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
• Monitoring quality and effectiveness of the digital devices and systems, such as kiosks, signage, lighting, and energy management systems
• Preparing and monitoring the technical specifications based on Greek legislation relating to buildings design and development
• Proposing design solutions for electrical and mechanical systems
• Liaising with the government authorities, assisting with technical administration material
• Coordinating with other internal and/or external teams for the delivery of the assigned projects

What you need to succeed:

• BSc in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related fields; MSc is preferable
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• Excellent knowledge of electro-mechanical, fire brigade subject and related legal framework
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize effectively and multi-task
• Teamwork and cooperation
• Achievement orientation
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in Greek and English languages (oral & written)
