We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our team as Finance Assistant of our hotels in Greece; someone with a spirit of excellence and a willingness to take on an interesting professional project in a company with a young and dynamic spirit.

Job requirements

  • Proficiency in accounting software and/or ERP systems
  • Familiarity with Greek accounting standards and tax laws.
  • Knowledge of the Information System "Ergani"
  • Good knowledge and proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of Avalon as PMS is an advantage.
  • Languages: Greek and English (other languages are an asset)

  • Education

    • Degree or diploma in economics or accounting

  • Professional experience

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in an organized accounting department with double-entry book

  • Skills

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
    • Time management skills to meet tight deadlines.

    Functions and responsibilities

    1. Record, verify and reconcile financial transactions (accounts payable, receivable, payroll)...
    2. Processing payments.
    3. Ensure accurate and timely posting of invoices, receipts and payments.
    4. Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, and other transactions in compliance with Greek regulations
    5. Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of bank statements, credit card transactions and cash accounts
    6. Assist in preparing financial reports
    7. Reconcile accounts in the PMS in collaboration with the reception 
    8. Update and maintain the Human Resources system with payroll data, employee records and other relevant information
    9. Collaborate with the CFO and other team members to ensure smooth accounting operations
