Designia Insurance Brokers, member of Eurolife FFH Insurance Group, has been active in insurance and reinsurance brokerage since 1992. We provide broking and consulting services in all insurance lines and for clients across all the sectors of the economy, with the ability to design tailor made solutions for specialized insurance needs.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Employee Benefits Supervisor to join our team, with strong market knowledge and desire to excel in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the employee benefits department, ensuring efficient and accurate administration of benefit programs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding employee benefits inquiries, issues, and concerns.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and vendors to negotiate competitive rates and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients in designing, implementing, and communicating employee benefit plans, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and compliance requirements related to employee benefits, and advise clients accordingly.
  • Lead a team of benefits administrators, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports on benefit utilization, costs, and trends to help clients make informed decisions and optimize their benefit programs.
  • Participate in business development activities, including client meetings, presentations, and proposals, to expand the company's employee benefits portfolio.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and comply with all relevant privacy and security regulations.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar position
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
  • Analytical thinking and strong organizational skills
  • Result orientation and self-initiative with proven ability to achieve goals under pressure within strict time limits & quality standards
  • Motivation for continuous improvement and development
  • Strong detail-orientation and resourceful mindset
