The opportunity




We’re looking for junior designers with a passion for UX/UI to join our rapidly growing team at the EY Athens Design Lab, to help us push the boundaries of design and innovation across a diverse range of services and products.




Our team of Business and Experience Designers are based in the Athens office of EY Greece and are part of our Consulting practice. Together we work on large and complex challenges, using robust frameworks, methods and tools to deliver transformative experiences for our clients, across many sectors (financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, government, and more) in Greece and abroad.

Your key responsibilities


As part of the Athens Design Lab team, you will work alongside business designers, UX/UI designers, strategists, product managers and engineering teams to design innovative user-centred services and products. As part of our team, you will be working across all areas of the design process from research, workshops, ideation, user journeys, flows, prototyping and testing.




Skills and attributes for success:






  • You are a passionate designer with a genuine interest in innovation, supported by a portfolio that demonstrates your creativity in digital experiences.

  • You thrive in a team environment, co-creating and developing solutions alongside designers, business professionals and technology consultants.

  • You are curious, staying updated on the latest digital developments and trends in UX/UI, and are actively seek opportunities to learn and grow.

  • You possess excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • You are comfortable communicating in English (proficiency in other languages is a plus).




To qualify for the role you must have:





  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, or you have clearly demonstrated work experience as a UX/UI designer as part of a design team.

  • Knowledge of human-centered design and are familiar with the end-to-end design process, including research, personas, concept creation, customer journeys, user flows, mockups, prototypes, user testing, and visual design deliverables.

  • Excellent technical skills in visual design and prototyping software (such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.), with the capability to design wireframes all the way through to final UI.




Ideally, you’ll also have
:






  • Experience in collaborative design workshops

  • Conducted user research or user testing

  • Other creative skills or developed talents.
