We are looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant at our office in Athens.

Role

As part of a highly motivated & growing team, your main role is to perform accounting transactions accurately through timely preparation of journal entries & account reconciliations, under general supervision.

Main functions & Responsibilities

• Day to day maintenance of an accurate ledger


• Invoicing & support to client related issues


• Clients’ and suppliers’ reconciliation (outstanding balances & payment schedule)


• Suppliers’ & general offices expenses’ invoices entry


• Application of billing/revenue and cost accounting processes and practices


• Research and resolution of discrepancies and issues


• Preparation of ad hoc reports and analysis & special comparative reports, as requested

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent


• Previous experience in similar capacity in Travel industry will be highly appreciated


• Good interpersonal skills


• PC Literacy (Word, Excel)


• Strong financial & analytical skills


• Good command of English    


• Excellent written and verbal communication


• Work ethic to help maintain/promote team morale


• Results-driven personality, with energy, commitment and a passion for learning and development


• Creative thinking, problem solving with ability to meet and maintain required performance standards


• Co-operation with a high degree of independence within agreed policies and targets
