Our Omnichannel retail, in Greece and Cyprus, consists of the love brand Public and Media Markt, a consumer electronics retailer with long lasting heritage. Innovation is part of our DNA. Through our ecosystem of startups and organizations, - iRepair, Klarna, Douleutaras.gr, SVUUM, Bookvoice, BOX NOW, Instacar , our tech PublicNEXT, Endeavour, Big PI, Metavallon, & Venture Friends - we offer pioneer services to our consumers. We operate 61 stores, 4 eShops and an ecosystem of digital properties such as: public ticketing, public business and bookfriends.gr. The candidate will be part of a data-driven, agile Performance Marketing team owning Digital Marketing Technology platforms and features roadmap, including SEO (Search Engine Optimization), tagging & analytics implementation, digital data quality, product feeds XMLs, personalization & audience building tools, customer data platform (CDP) and marketing automations. We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Product MarTech Specialist with a specialization in Web Analytics to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decisions and enhancing our online presence.
Responsibilities:
- Web Analytics Expertise: Utilize advanced web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to gather and interpret data, providing actionable insights for the improvement of our online platforms.
- MarTech Strategy: Develop and implement marketing technology strategies that align with our business goals, ensuring optimal customer experiences across all digital channels.
- Data Optimization: Lead efforts to optimize data collection, tracking, and reporting systems, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, IT, and product development to drive data-centric decision-making.
- Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and digital initiatives.
- Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest MarTech and Web Analytics trends and technologies, proposing innovative solutions to improve our digital presence.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and agencies to ensure the efficient implementation of MarTech tools.
Requirements:
- MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Studies, Mathematics or Statistics combining technical savviness
- 2-3 years’ experience in Digital Marketing, SEO, Analytics, Personalization, or similar role
- Proficiency in web analytics tools and data visualization software.
- Basic understanding of HTML / CSS / Cookies / JavaScript / jQuery
- Understanding of tag management system (Google Tag Manager or Adobe Tealium)
- JIRA/Confluence, or equivalent experience is considered as nice to have
- Experience working with internal and external partners, driving concurrent projects on time
- Excellent Attention to detail
- Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities
- Fluency in English (verbal & written)
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
